For over 82 years, Carnegie Equipment has been the region’s premier supplier of restaurant supplies and equipment.

For over 82 years, the Ferris family has been furnishing the region’s eateries with a complete line of quality restaurant/bar equipment and supplies, including janitorial and paper products.  In 1928, George Ferris, nicknamed “Carnegie” by friends began carrying restaurant and tavern supplies in his downtown Altoona business, National Plate Glass.  Shortly thereafter, he changed the name to Carnegie Equipment and began specializing in restaurant/tavern equipment and supplies.

Through name changes and location changes, two things have always remained the same; Carnegie Equipment is a family owned and operated business and customer service is our main priority.
